The app is not a substitute for professional medical care. If you have concerns about your health or pregnancy, always contact your midwife, doctor, or other qualified healthcare provider.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By creating an account or using the app, you confirm that:
You have read and understood these terms
You agree to these terms
You are 16 years of age or older
You will use the app in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations
If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the app.
WHAT IS PREGGY?
Preggy is a mobile application designed to support pregnant women with:
Mood tracking: Track your mood, emotional state, and well-being throughout pregnancy
AI assistant (NIA): Get personalized support, information, and answers to pregnancy-related questions 24/7
Product scanner: Scan food, drinks, and skincare products to check pregnancy safety
Sleep tracking: Analyze your sleep patterns and get insights (Preggy+ feature)
Kick counter: Track your baby's movements and monitor activity patterns
Weekly analyses: Discover patterns and insights about your pregnancy journey
Community: Connect with other pregnant women, share experiences, and find support
Articles & content: Access expert advice, tips, and pregnancy information
Inbox: Receive personalized tips, reminders, and updates
ACCOUNT & REGISTRATION
3.1 Creating an Account
You must create an account with a valid email address
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential
You are responsible for all activities under your account
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
3.2 Truthfulness
You agree to provide truthful, accurate, and complete information during registration and keep it up to date.
3.3 Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account.
This permanently deletes all your personal data stored in the cloud and locally.

Pricing:
Monthly: €14.99/month
Annual: €99.99/year (€8.33/month — save 44%)
Free Trial: New users get 3 days free, then the subscription automatically renews unless canceled before the trial ends.
4.2 Payment
Payment is processed through your iTunes Account
Payment is charged upon confirmation of purchase
Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period
Subscriptions may be managed and auto-renewal may be turned off in App Store Account Settings
4.3 Cancellation & Refunds
To cancel: Via App Store Settings → Subscriptions → Preggy+
Cancel during trial: Cancel at least 24 hours before trial ends to avoid charges
Refunds: No refunds for unused portions of a subscription, except where required by law
Refund requests: May be submitted to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com
4.4 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. You will be notified at least 30 days in advance. Price changes take effect from your next renewal date.

Preggy offers a free version with limited features:
Unlimited mood logs
10 NIA chat messages per month
5 product scans per month
Unlimited kick counter
Community access
Basic weekly insights
AI ASSISTANT (NIA) – USE & LIMITATIONS
5.1 What is NIA?
NIA is an AI-powered assistant that provides:
General information about pregnancy, nutrition, and wellness
Emotional support and encouragement
Wellness tips and advice
Answers to frequently asked questions
5.2 What NIA is NOT
NIA does NOT provide medical advice and is NOT a substitute for:
Your midwife
Your general practitioner
Your obstetrician/gynecologist
Emergency services
Medical diagnosis or treatment
5.3 AI Limitations
You understand and accept that:
AI can make mistakes or provide inaccurate information
AI responses are general and not specific medical advice
You must always consult a medical professional for health issues or concerns
Your chat data is processed as described in the Privacy Policy
5.4 Emergencies
In case of an emergency:
Do NOT use NIA
Call emergency services immediately (US: 911, EU: 112, or your local emergency number)
Contact your healthcare provider immediately
PRODUCT SCANNER – USE & LIMITATIONS
6.1 What the Scanner Does
The product scanner uses AI to:
Analyze product images and identify ingredients
Provide pregnancy-safety assessments based on established guidelines (RIVM, NVOG, ACOG)
Offer alternatives and recommendations
6.2 What the Scanner is NOT
NOT a substitute for medical advice
NOT 100% accurate (AI can make mistakes)
NOT responsible for individual allergies or sensitivities
NOT a guarantee of product safety
Always consult your healthcare provider if you have concerns about a specific product.
ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
7.1 You Agree NOT To:
Use the app for illegal purposes
Harass, bully, threaten, or harm others
Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
Attempt to breach the app's security or access unauthorized data
Send spam or unwanted messages in the community
Use bots, scripts, or automated systems to interact with the app
Provide medical advice to other users (share experiences only)
Share content that is illegal, harmful, offensive, or violates others' rights
7.2 Community Behavior
In the Preggy community, we expect:
Respectful communication and empathy
No hate speech or discriminatory language
No medical advice — share only personal experiences
Respect privacy — do not share others' personal information
Report violations — help us keep the community safe
Violation of these rules may result in account suspension or termination.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
8.1 Preggy's IP
All content in the app (text, graphics, logos, icons, features, functionality, design, code) is owned by Preggy and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not:
Copy, reproduce, or distribute app content without permission
Use Preggy's trademarks or branding without authorization
8.2 Your Content
Content you create (mood logs, notes, kick counter data, photo memories, community posts) remains yours.
However, by sharing content in the Community, you grant Preggy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:
Host, store, and display that content
Moderate or remove content that violates our policies
You retain ownership of your content and can delete it at any time.
Content NOT shared in Community (mood logs, private notes, photo memories) is yours alone and Preggy has no rights to use or display it publicly.
DISCLAIMER & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
9.1 "As-Is" Service
Preggy is provided "as is" without any warranty, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
The app will be error-free or uninterrupted
All errors will be corrected
The app will meet all your expectations or requirements
AI responses are accurate, complete, or reliable
Third-party services (HealthKit, Firebase, etc.) will always be available
9.2 Medical Disclaimer
IMPORTANT:
Preggy is NOT a medical device
Preggy is NOT a substitute for medical care
Do NOT use Preggy to diagnose or treat medical conditions
Always contact a healthcare provider when in doubt
9.3 Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Preggy is NOT liable for:
Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities
Damages caused by use or inability to use the app
Damages caused by AI-generated content or inaccuracies
Medical complications, health problems, or adverse outcomes
Maximum liability: If we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Preggy+ in the last 12 months (or €50 if you used the free version).
TERMINATION
10.1 By You
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account.
10.2 By Us
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the app if:
You violate these Terms
You misuse the app or its features
You harm, harass, or intimidate other users
We are legally required to do so
Your account has been inactive for an extended period
We will notify you before termination unless prohibited by law.
CHANGES TO THE SERVICE
We reserve the right to:
Add, modify, or remove features
Update or redesign the app
Temporarily or permanently discontinue the service (with notice)
Important changes will be announced via:
In-app notification
Email
App Store release notes
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in:
Legal requirements
App features or functionality
Business practices
For material changes:
You will be notified at least 30 days in advance
The "Last updated" date will be changed
You will receive a notification in the app
Continued use of the app after changes means acceptance of the new Terms.
GOVERNING LAW
13.1 EU Users
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
However, if you are a consumer in another EU jurisdiction, you retain any mandatory consumer protection rights under your local law.
13.2 Non-EU Users
If you are outside the EU, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, except where your local consumer protection laws provide greater rights.
If you are not satisfied with the app or our service, please contact us first. We strive to resolve all complaints within 7 business days.
If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may have the right to submit it to a dispute resolution body or regulatory authority in your jurisdiction.
MISCELLANEOUS
15.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Preggy regarding the use of the app.
15.2 Severability
If any part of these Terms is declared invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts remain in full effect.
15.3 No Waiver
Failure to enforce a provision does not mean we waive that right in the future.
15.4 Apple Terms
These Terms are between you and Preggy, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. However, Apple (and Apple's subsidiaries) are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and have the right to enforce them.
